  • Reservation System Working in Library Group Study Rooms!

Need a space for your group to work on a project? The 15 group study rooms in the Lemieux Library & McGoldrick Learning Commons can now be reserved using Outlook Web Access (using Internet Explorer on a PC) for advance bookings or the panel outside the room for immediate bookings. It’s important to reserve your room. Instructions for booking a room are now available online.

Cords to connect your laptop to the big screen and whiteboard markers are available for check-out at the iDesks or the Circulation Desk.

the system is EXTREMELY flawed. I have tried to reserve a room for the past 2 weeks and Outlook has said they are all taken. When I walk around however, there are a couple of rooms "available" with students inside. There needs to be some regulation so that the students that WANT to book the rooms can. It is very unfortunately that I have had to "kick" people out for using a room if I have reserved it. Please figure something out because for the 55million dollar library this is not cutting it!

Bernice, thanks for the feedback. I'll pass it along to the library administration.
