In his address to the World Union of Jesuit Alumnae, at Kalkata, India; 22 January 2003
Peter Hans-Kolvenbach S.J. Father General of the Society of Jesus, set forth the challenge of how to get the principle of justice down to the level of reality in our daily lives by cultivating in ourselves the attitudes to:
1) live simply; 2) make just economic choices; and 3) live in solidarity with the poor.
