"AVEL Sustainability Knowledge Network is a portal and brokerage service for engineers, other professionals and researchers concerned with sustainable systems." This network is supported by Australian and New Zealand universities and other partners referred to as the Australasian Virtual Engineering Library. Engineering links are separated into "hot topics in sustainable systems," "emerging topics" and "foundation topics in engineering."
 
Digital Library Network for Engineering and Technology
"The Digital Library Network for Engineering and Technology or DLNET is a project funded by the National Science Digital Library (NSDL) initiative of the National Science Foundation under NSF Grant DUE-0085849. DLNET is envisaged as a repository to archive "Learning Objects" (LOs) as well as a platform for information discovery, interaction, content-building and distribution that will support pedagogy and learning in Engineering and Technology. It is a collaborative effort of four institutions, namely, the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE), Iowa State University (ISU) and Virginia Tech (VATECH). The Alexandria Research Institution (ARI) of Virginia Tech manages the project providing the necessary support to integrate the inputs and guidance from participating institutions as well as the NSDL." Pulldown menus allow the searcher to limit results by topics and subtopics.
