Database which specializes in news, business and legal information. Its news section contains access to international newspapers as well as national and local news. Full text of the New York Times is available in this database. There are separate business news and industry news files as well as a link to accounting publications in the business module. In the business module, you can also search for company financial information with access to Disclosure, Hoover"s, and Standard & Poor's publications. Links to EDGAR and SEC filings. The Reference section contains a country profile section and access to the World Almanac.

U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis
The Bureau of Economic Analysis is the smallest of the three major statistical agencies in the Dept. of Commerce. Along with the STAT-USA and U.S. Bureau of the Census, the BEA are the primary agencies for U.S. economic statistics. The BEA focuses on National income and product accounts including the GDP. It also releases economic account information for at the industry, regional and international levels. Most data is first announced in news releases, then compiled in the Survey of Current Business

An independent, research organization founded in 1916, it focuses on the analysis of economics, foreign policy and governance issues. Norms and Preferences Network
The purpose of this network is to do research on "modelling individual decision making and strategic interaction." The network, part of the MacArthur research network, includes 16 members, most of whom are economists. Research papers are available in pdf.
