Developed by Cambridge University, database Contains records of 27,233 trans-Atlantic slave ship voyages made between 1595 and 1866. Format allows users to track information by time period and geographic region, and includes interactive maps that allow viewers to chart the trans-Atlantic connections. African American Women Writers of the 19th Century
From the Schomburg Center, this is a digital collection of poems, fiction and other writing of 52 black women writers with a closing date of 1920. The digital product is based upon the 1988 mulitivolume work of the Schomburg Libray, Henry Louis Gates and Oxford University Press, the "Schomburg Library of Nineteenth Century Black Women Writers." Key word searchable as well as by author and title this is a well developed digital product.
