Room Policy
To reserve a room:
- Read the following policies
- Click the Agree button to complete a Room
Reservation Form.
If you have any questions or problems regarding
the policy or the form, contact Melissa Chamberlain.
- Study rooms may be reserved for one-time or recurring
use, for sessions of up to two hours, with a maximum of one
recurring session per week.
- The maximum duration of a recurring reservation
is one academic quarter.
- If a study room is not in use 15 minutes into
the reserved period, the room reverts to open study area.
- Reserved rooms are for Seattle University student
use only, and a Seattle University student must make the reservation.
- Reservations must be made with the library’s
administrative assistant at least 48 hours in advance of reservation
period.
- To reserve a study room:
- a. Make a reservation in person by coming
to Room 212 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through
Friday.
- b. Make a reservation over the phone by calling
(206) 296-6222 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through
Friday.
- c. Pick up a reservation form from the Reference
or the Circulation desks. You will be contacted with a room
assignment.
- d. Complete a web-based reservation form
by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
- Study rooms may be reserved only for academic
uses, such as group studying, small group meetings, and interview
sessions.
- Study room activities must be quiet, i.e. not
disturbing to others.
- No materials of any kind may be left in study
rooms.
- Tables & chairs, window coverings, etc. must
be returned to their original positions.
