Learning Assistance Programs provide tutoring in a variety of subject areas. Both the tutor and tutee benefit from this meaningful relationship.
Learning Assistance Programs recruits tutors for the following classes:
Note: Because most humanities classes (History, English, Philosophy, Theology, etc) differ greatly in content and instructor style we do not offer tutoring in those subjects. However, we can help you design a study approach for these courses. You can meet with a learning specialist in our office to build strategies for reading, study, review and test taking. For other classes we may not tutor, we can often point students to other campus resources they may not be aware of.
The first step to getting a tutor is to finish your TNA (Tutoring Needs Assessment).
Book an appointment at the front desk or attend the Tutoring Needs Assessment Blitz!
No appointment necessary, the Blitz is first come, first serve.
Monday, January 12th from 5-7:30 PM
Once you are authorized for tutoring by completing your TNA, log in to TutorTrac and schedule an appointment!
