2014 Plan Costs
Seattle University pays most of the cost of medical plan premiums for benefits eligible faculty and staff and their families. Also, the University pays 100% of the premium for vision, basic life, basic accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) and long-term disability.
Your Medical paycheck contributions are based on your annual rate of pay as of November 1, 2013, elected coverage, and whether you’ve earned 1,000+ LiVE wellness points in 2013. Your payroll contribution amount will remain the same for the entire 2014 plan year, even if you have a salary adjustment during the year. Dental contributions to enroll dependents are determined by your coverage choice but not your pay rate.
You can access a table of rates for all of the University's health benefits (Medical/Vision and Dental) by following the link below. NOTE: The medical rates shown for dependents includes the cost to cover yourself. If you wish to compare to the amount you are paying this year, your first step should be to review your online pay advice at: Pay Advice. General 2013 premium tables, by plan, are also posted to the Human Resources website at: Compensation and Benefits.
