Graduate and Law

  • We have units reserved in our Logan Court Townhomes and Murphy Apartments complex for graduate and law school students who are interested in living on campus.

The Logan Court Townhomes are condos that the university purchased for graduate and law housing. They are located about just off campus and about 1 block from the law school. They are also very close to Starbucks. Students have the opportunity to select single or double rooms. The townhomes are furnished, have very nice kitchens, and lots of bathroom space. Logan Court houses approximately 20 students.

The Murphy Apartments are an apartment complex located next to the Student Center. Murphy offers a variety of living options, but law students have generally selected private studios or the four bedroom apartments. The apartments are furnished and conveniently located.

The rates include cable TV, electricity, heat, water, garbage, recycling, and internet access. Logan Court and Murphy Apartments are patrolled by the Department of Public Safety, on-call staff is available when the office is closed, there is live-in management, and a very responsive maintenance and custodial staff. Murphy Apartments have on an-site desk, Logan Court residents may ship items to the Douglas Apartments desk if their packages will not fit in the mailboxes and they desire a secure location for their packages. In addition, because Logan Court is just off campus each unit comes equipped with door alarm/security pads that can contact the Department of Public Safety. Law and graduate students may select to live in their units year round or by academic year (breaks are included in the housing agreement). Logan Court and Murphy Apartments allow overnight guests and you will only be housed in units with law and graduate students. Occupancy dates will be based on your academic program.

Students interested in on-campus living should complete the housing application below and email them to Housing and Residence Life (housing@seattleu.edu). Apartment assignments are prioritized as space permits by the date we receive your housing application. We anticipate a continuous waitlist for these spaces. Assignment letters will be emailed from our office once you are assigned to an apartment. No housing or application deposit is required for grad and law students. You will have 10 days after receipt of your assignment to cancel your assignment without penalty.
