Student Academic Services

Student Academic Services is comprised of the Bellarmine Advising Center, housing the Premajor Studies Program, Scholarship Mentoring for Washington Achievers and Fostering Scholars programs, Advising Support Services and the Office of Fellowships as well as the Loyola Learning Center, housing Learning Assistance and Disability Services. While we are in two separate locations on campus we are united in our efforts to support students in their endeavors to get the most out of their Seattle University education.

The Bellarmine Advising Center offers students information and assistance with academic policies and procedures, scheduling of classes, choosing a major or connecting with campus resources. As a college student you will face many challenges unique to the college academic experience and are bound to have questions or concerns. We are committed to helping students deal with academic concerns, connect to campus resources and meet educational goals.

All Seattle University students are invited to use this FREE service to discuss writing projects in a friendly environment. At the Writing Center, students work on all stages of writing, including BRAINSTORMING, ORGANIZING, DRAFTING, REVISING, AND EDITING.
The writing consultants, trained to work with writing from all ALL disciplines, work one-on-one in hour-long sessions to help students complete individual assignments in the context of becoming a better writer. Call or walk-in to set up an appointment. The Writing Center is busiest during midterms and just before finals, especially at these times, please try to make an appointment well in advance.
