Hedia was hired by Wells Fargo Financial as a Credit Manager and will start in September 2009. To find this position she took the initiative to determine which employers featured at Career Expo were recruiting for internships and full-time positions. She “met the district manager of Wells Fargo Financial at Career Expo in January ’09, followed up, and started the interview process.” Ultimately, she was offered the full-time position in April 2009. Hedia’s advice for other students is to “Take advantage of any networking event and/or career fair sponsored by SU in order to build your network early on. You’ll embark on interviews with so much more confidence if you take that initiative!”
