Lucas is working as an intern for Movin’ 92.5 and AM880 KIXI Promotions for the duration of Spring Quarter. To secure the position, he worked with Career Services staff to write his resume, and submitted it to Movin’ and KIXI at Career Expo. The most important action Lucas took to get the internship was to utilize all of the resources that Career Services has to offer, in order to develop the tools necessary to be hired. His advice with other students is to “Be positive no matter what, and stay true to who you are as an individual when looking for a job or an internship. Authenticity is key.”
