The Office of Research Services and Sponsored Projects (ORSSP) assists faculty and staff in the pursuit of external funding opportunities. Our goal is to provide effective and efficient support and services throughout the life of all sponsored agreements (pre-award, post-award, and close out). We also strive to ensure compliance with federal regulations and requirements as well as with policies, procedures, and guidelines at Seattle University.
Recent Announcements
COS Pivot. We are pleased to announce the launch of a new tool for SU faculty, staff, and students interested in searching for sponsored funding to support research, workshops, creative activities, equipment acquisition, etc. COS Pivot is the industry leader in web based sponsored research search engines and is designed specifically for university faculty and staff. While on campus, Pivot can be used without creating an account or logging in as you will have universal access from anywhere on campus. Off campus you will need to have an account to log in. To create a new account, go to http://pivot.cos.com, click "log in", select "login help" at the upper right of the screen and choose "create an account." Collaborative Insitutional Training Initiative (CITI)
Beginning July 1, 2012, research compliance training from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) will be available to all researchers at Seattle University. CITI is the
premier training course in use at the majority of institutions across the country and we are pleased to make this distinguished program available to Seattle University. Responsible
Conduct of Research and Human Subjects research courses will be available with certification upon completion. Please click here for instructions on accessing the CITI program.
