The 31st Annual Seattle University Gala, held on November 8th, helped raise more than $645,000 for student scholarships. Thank you to all participants for helping to nurture our students as they work to develop lives of leadership, service, and distinction in our community and beyond. As student speaker Palmyra Jackson, '17, shared: "My scholarship, and wonderful experiences at Seattle University, have changed my life FOREVER."
The Gala celebrated the difference that our supporters make in helping these students, and offered an evening of fine dining and entertainment with friends, colleagues, and other corporate and community leaders. This year Seattle University honored Joe, '67 and Terri '67, '89 Gaffney with the St. Ignatius Medal, the university's highest honor. The 31st Annual Gala was graciously chaired by Jim, '69, and Jan, '70 Dwyer, and Don, '09 and Melissa Manning.
