Pass the SALT!
SALT (Service And Leadership Team) is a group of peer educators who serve the campus community by addressing critical issues for students--as identified by students.  Issues might include topics ranging from healthy relationships to smoking to inclusiveness of the campus community.

Join the Team
SALT coordinator, Jamie Robertson, will head a team of approximately 15 members. Members should be creative, compassionate and dedicated students who will serve as role models, mentors and listeners.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifying issues to be addressed: This may be done through surveys, web submissions and/or just talking with people. The best methods will be determined by the team.
  • Coordinating educational programming:   Could include a speaker, events, activities, etc.
  • Information campaigns:   Fun creative eye-catching info organized and executed by the team.
  • Facilitating informal dialogue :  Peer-to-peer dialogue, including visits to hall floors to facilitate conversation circles or hosting a web chat.
