    • Alpha Delta Kappa- Alpha Alpha Chapter Education Scholarship

      This scholarship is provided by the Alpha Alpha Chapter of the Alpha Delta Kappa - a teacher's sorority from the Snohomish and Lake Stevens school districts. Applicant must be a graduate from Lake Stevens or Snohomish High Schools, must be of junior or senior standing by the upcoming fall, must be either majoring or minoring in Education and plan to become a teacher.

      Must have a Junior or Senior standing as an undergraduate woman student. Applicant will submit an essay describing major and career goals, involvement in school activities or community service involvement.     • Army ROTC Scholarship

      The scholarship is open to students pursuing any degree program at Seattle University. Candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and pass an Army physical fitness test that includes push-ups, sit-ups, and a two mile run. In addition to paying full tuition, the scholarship is accompanied by a room and board grant, a monthly stipend, and book money. The full scholarship has a four-year value of $172,000.
    • Association of Women in Computing Scholarship

      Each year, Association of Women in Computing/Puget Sound (AWC/PS) offers scholarships to two women enrolled in an Information Technology program in a Puget Sound area college. In addition, a one-year membership to AWC/PS is also included for both recipients.
    • Association on American Indian Affairs Scholarships

      Applications are accepted from graduating high school seniors, current college freshman, sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate and doctoral students.       Group Health Cooperative — in conjunction with the Auxiliary of Group Health and the Group Health Foundation — offers two academic scholarships that are open to Group Health members and their dependents.
    • Bannan Scholarship

      The Thomas J. Bannan Scholarship Program for Seattle University Science and Engineering students awards scholarships to both current and new transfer students, who have junior or senior standing in the fall of the award year. A Bannan scholarship is a merit award of $5,000 per year. For juniors, this is a two-year award subject to academic performance demonstrated by maintaining a GPA of 3.0 and active participation in the Bannan Scholar Enrichment Program. This program includes service, scholarly, and social activities, as well as opportunities to compete for one of several Bannan Scholar summer research stipends.
    • Blue Mountain District Garden Clubs Scholarship

      The members of Blue Mountain District of the Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs are offering this scholarship to a Junior or Senior student majoring in horticulture or allied subjects. Must be a Washington resident and attending a college or university during the 2012-13 Academic year.       The Puget Sound CFMA sponsors an annual scholarship program aimed at recognizing and rewarding local college students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements and exhibited a strong desire to pursue a career in the construction/financial management industry upon graduation.
    • Daniel B. Goldberg Scholarship

      The 2012 Daniel B. Goldberg Scholarship is available to a full-time graduate student who is pursuing an advanced degree preparing for a career in state or local government finance.  Eligibility: Currently a full-time student in a graduate program that prepares students for careers in state and local government finance and expecting to be enrolled in the spring 2012 semester (including spring 2012 graduates).
    • Edmund F. Maxwell Foundation

      The Maxwell Foundation offers up to $5000 per year for freshmen. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years.
    • Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest

      The Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest challenges college students to contemplate ethical issues. This scholarship is for juniors and seniors. 
    • Fisher's Minority Scholarship

      Fisher Communications, Inc. in an effort to attract minority students into careers in broadcasting offers an annual scholarship. To be considered, applicant must be either a resident of, or attending a school in, Washington, Oregon, California or Idaho; must be at least a sophomore enrolled in broadcast media, minority and minimum 2.5 GPA.
    • Florence Marie Bauer Scholarship

      Scholarships in the amount of $2000 will be awarded to successful candidates by the Seattle/King County Older Women’s League, (OWL).  Eligibility criteria: a woman over 50 years old, with no dependent children, a resident of Seattle/King County.  The committee encourages applications from displaced homemakers, homeless women and women who for whatever reason must train to support herself.  The goal is to assist a woman to achieve financial independence through education and training. Special consideration will be given to candidates with a career goal of working in the gerontology field. This student must have clearly defined educational and career goals and be able to articulate them to the scholarship committee.
    • Frank L. Greathouse Government Accounting Scholarship

        The Frank L. Greathouse Government Scholarship is available for award to one or more graduate or undergraduate students enrolled in full-time study preparing for a career in state and local government finance.  Currently a full-time student in an undergraduate or graduate accounting program preparing for a career in state and local government finance. Undergraduate students must be in the process of completing at least their junior year by the time the scholarship is awarded.

      The Hayes Barnard Paramount Equity Young Entrepreneur Scholarship (Y.E.S.) gives future entrepreneurs the opportunity to develop their ideas through higher education and help make a difference in the world. To apply, submit a 500-1000 word essay, must be a U.S resident, 18 years old, and enrolled in, or admitted to a college or university.

      Kids' Chance of Washington is a need-based scholarship program for the dependent children and spouses of workers killed or seriously disabled in a workplace accident in Washington state.     • Leadership 1000 Scholarship

    • National Hydropower Association 'Past Presidents' Legacy Scholarship

      Scholarship to encourage students to consider becoming part of the U.S. hydropower industry. Eligible applicants will be a junior or senior Fall 2012 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Must be pursuing a degree that is related to the hydropower industry: Engineering, sciences (biology, fisheries, hydrology), communications, or environmental studies. Applications will not be accepted until January 2, 2012.
    • Nursing Army ROTC Scholarship

      The scholarship is open to students pursuing a Nursing degree at Seattle University.     • Seattle University Catholic School Teacher & Principal Tuition Grant

      Full-time religious lay teachers and principals of Catholic schools under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Seattle may apply for the grant provided they are matriculated in an eligible graduate degree or certificate program in the College of Education at Seattle University. Individuals employed at Catholic Schools who are on a leave of absence or working part-time are not eligible for the grant. Students who are eligible for tuition remission through Matteo Ricci College are not eligible for the grant.
