Seattle University Park
Located in the heart of Seattle University's residential living center, Seattle University Park will create a vibrant outdoor community gathering space and multipurpose recreation area for all students, including those involved in intramural, club, and recreational sports and intercollegiate athletics. Synthetic turf allows the Park to withstand continuous use, and the addition of lights on the field increases the available field time for the university community.
Logan Field will live on and continue to be the name of the softball field, now located in the southwest corner as a greatly enhanced tribute to the SU legend for whom it is named. The intramural soccer field will relocate from the south end to the north end of the field. A two-lane jogging track will encircle the field.
Seattle University Park's perimeter will also be enhanced with plantings along Jefferson, 12th Avenue, and Cherry, as well as welcoming pedestrian access points on Jefferson and the corner of 12th Avenue and Cherry Street.
Additional design features include a concession stand, press box, restrooms, and a softball training room.
