Title:

Movie Night

Description: Join us for pop, pizza, a movie and a facilitated discussion. All are welcome to attend!

The movie being shown is "Ma Vie En Rose" which tells the story of Ludovic, a young boy who cross dresses, enjoys stereotypically "girl" things, and talks of marrying the boy next door. He insists that he is supposed to be a girl, and he can’t wait to grow up and be a woman. His family is forced to deal with their own discomfort and interact with the lack of understanding from society. The film shows the struggle of gender identity and provides a unique point of view from which to discuss transgender issues.

This event is hosted by Seattle University Counselors for Social Justice (SUCSJ). We are a group of graduate counseling and psychology students interested in promoting and advocating for issues of justice, equality and fairness. Check out our group at the website below.
