| The Office of Alumni Relations is looking for men and women who have made a difference in their chosen fields, in their communities and in the world. Nominations are now being sought for the 2010 Alumni Awards, two of which are also open to non-alums. Individuals will be recognized in the following categories.
* Alumnus/Alumna of the Year: For outstanding leadership and service to the community and to Seattle University
* Professional Achievement: To recognize exceptional achievement in the professional arena
* Community Service: For someone who provides exemplary service to the wider community
* University Service: To honor an individual who goes above and beyond in serving Seattle University (open to alumni and non-alumni)
* Distinguished Teaching: For an SU faculty member who has made a special impact on students (open to alumni and non-alumni)
* Outstanding Recent Alumnus/Alumna (Graduate from 1999 to 2009): For outstanding leadership and service to the community and to Seattle University
