Title:

Bloody Henry

Description: 2009 marks the 500th anniversary of the coronation of Henry VIII of England. How better to celebrate this event than immersing one's self in an over-the-top hysterically accurate puppet show about a misogynist mass-murdering monarch? Beautifully rendered hand, rod, shadow and bunraku puppets will present this spectacle on an intricately detailed set representing the unsanitary glamour that was royal life at the dawn of the Renaissance.
