SUVC seeks to ease the transition from military to civilian life, and will guide you as you embark on or continue your college experience at Seattle University.
SUVC aims to provide a social connection with fellow Veterans through regular meetings, connect you with campus and VA resources, provide campus and community engagement opportunities in support of Veteran's issues and to connect you with potential employers through regular networking nights.
Please contact Jaime Yslas, the Veteran Navigator firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com if you are interested in our networking night on Thursday, November 8th at 6:30pm on the fifth floor of the Casey Building. We have employer representatives, employment specialists, and Student Veterans from eight other King County Campuses attending.
We also need Veterans to assist in distributing ribbons to the campus community on Friday, November 9th. Cadets from the ROTC Battalion and students from Campus Ministry will be joining us in this event. Send me a note if you want to assist.
In the long-range viewfinder, we will be showing "the Invisible War" in late January to the campus community...more details to follow.
