As an undergraduate or graduate student with children, you have many responsibilities. Take advantage of these resources to help you succeed as a student and parent.
SWAP is a loose organization of Seattle University's undergrads, graduate students and law school students who gather occasionally for advocacy, coalition building, and friendship. SWAP urges Seattle University to develop or support a day care facility for its students, faculty and staff. SWAP stands for Students Who Are Parents, a student organization that assists non-traditional students who have children. Kerani Mitchell is this year’s representative.

Child Care Resources (CCR) provides several options so your family can find the best solution to fit your particular needs. The CCR database includes licensed child care centers, family child care programs, license-exempt preschools and school age programs.
There is now a primary location for the campus lactation room, located in a shared space in the University Services Building, 201b. A second space is also available, offered by CAPS, please contact the CAPS front desk to schedule a time or check availability. CAPS is located in the Pigott Pavilion for Leadership, Room 120. The Student Health Center also offers a lactation space as is allowed when all of the clinic rooms are not in use. Please have the students call the SHC at 206-296-6300 or contact the SHC at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange use of our clinic rooms.
There are now changing tables in the library bathrooms as well as the first floor men's and women's bathrooms of the Student Center (STCN).
Conveniently located to Seattle University, Virginia Mason's Tender Loving Care offers a warm and nurturing place to take your sick child, giving you the confidence that he or she will be well cared for while you are on campus. There is a one-time registration fee of $10, but otherwise Seattle University fully subsidizes the costs for eligible students. Registration Form (PDF)
