What is your role?
I came to the
CSCE staff as Manager of Budget and Operations in 2011. In this role, I oversee
all of the university sponsored, donor gift and federally and privately funded
grant accounts – a whopping 30 budgets! I also coordinate CSCE/SUYI strategic
communication plans as well as managing the SUYI Liaison Committee, a group of
university-wide representatives working to enhance campus activities supporting
the Youth Initiative.
What is your favorite part about working at
Working in the Center allows me to offer my unique
set of skills to an effort in which I deeply believe. The SU students working
in the Center are passionate and inspirational in their desire to make the
world a better place for all. It’s infectious!
What is your
professional and educational background?
I have spent over 25
years working as a College Administrator in various roles. I even used to be the
Campion Resident Hall director back in the late 80’s! I hold a B.A. in
Psychology/Sociology from St. Mary’s of Notre Dame and I am an alum of SU’s
Master’s Program in Pastoral Studies.
What is something people
would be surprised to know about you?
On most days you can find
me zipping around town on my Vespa and if you really want to see my eyes light
up ask me about my trip to Peru in Fall 2013!
