The SU University Core Curriculum is currently undergoing a major revision, with the goal of creating a learning outcomes based general education curriculum firmly rooted in the Jesuit, Catholic liberal education tradition to prepare every undergraduate student at SU for the twenty-first century. Over the past three years, SU faculty and staff have been reconstruction the University Core with more than 300 exciting new courses.  This new sequence of courses carefully balances enduring, time-tested wisdom rooted in the Jesuit tradition, with cutting-edge new developments across the disciplines designed to effectively engage students.  The new curriculum will be fully implemented beginning in Summer 2013.
