Childcare Subsidy Program
The Office of Human Resources, in conjunction with the childcare committee, offers a benefit to SU employees as well as students with children. The goal of the program is to provide a partial cash subsidy for childcare assistance to Seattle University full-time faculty and staff and full-time students to help meet the expenses of pre-first grade childcare. Funds are distributed through an annual lottery system and application forms forms for this are due each year in early fall.
Seattle University Childcare Subsidy Program for 2008-09
The university is pleased to award 13 monthly subsidies of $100/month to eligible students to help meet the expenses of pre-first grade childcare. Thirteen subsidies are also given to faculty/staff.
Applications are due October 24, 2008 – Turn certification form in to Commuter and Transfer Student Services in Pavilion #180 or to the Human Resources Office (Room 107, University Services Building). Students Who are Parents (SWAP)
SWAP is a loose organization of Seattle University's undergrads, grads and law school students who gather occasionally for advocacy, coalition building and friendship. SWAP urges Seattle University to develop or support a day care facility for its students, faculty and staff.

Diaper Changing Tables
Tired of trying to change your child's diaper on the floor of the library? There are now changing tables in the first floor men's and women's bathrooms of the Student Center. .

Tender Loving Care (Sick Child Daycare)
Conveniently located to Seattle University, Virginia Mason's Tender Loving Care offers a warm and nurturing place to take your sick child, giving you the confidence that he or she will be well cared for while you are on campus.
There is a one-time registration fee of $10, but otherwise Seattle University fully subsidizes the costs for eligible students. Please visit the TLC web page for more information.
