WomensBBallHuddle_WCCongratulations to our women's basketball team for just a stupendous season! Making their first postseason appearance in decades, the Redhawks went deep into the Women's Basketball Invitational before falling to Northern Iowa on March 21. Even in defeat, the women showed the same competitive grit they did all year long, coming within four points of advancing to the championship. Kudos to our student-athletes and head coach Joan Bonvicini and her staff for a thrilling 2011-2012 campaign. Already looking forward to next year--Go Redhawks!
