Kudos to SU's Chi Sigma Iota Counselor Honors Society which collaborated with SUYI partner Village Spirit Center for Community Change and Healing to participate in the Adopt a Family Program. A project of Catholic Community Services, Village Spirit is housing program for families meeting criteria for homelessness prior to admission. Donors included graduate students, staff, faculty and staff from the College of Education and across the university. Bill O'Connell and Kristi Lee of the College of Education report that the families communicated a warm thank you to the generosity of the donors and student organizers.
