The Commons: A gathering place for Seattle University faculty and staff

Asfaha Lemlem of the Yesler Terrace Computer Lab received the Community Partner Award at Seattle University's 8th annual Spirit of Community Celebration on April 24. Also honored were three SU students, two faculty and one staff member.

Martha Choe, '86, received the 2012 Alumna of the Year Award on April 17. Choe, chief administration officer for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, was honored for outstanding leadership and service to the community and to Seattle University.

Seattle University is pleased to announce the Pigott Family Arts Endowment, which is bringing internationally renowned artists to campus.
