The Commons: A gathering place for Seattle University faculty and staff

It was a meeting of the Murrays on Monday, March 21, when (U.S. Sen.) Patty and (Associate Vice President for Student Development) Michele crossed paths in the Library Plaza. Sen. Murray was visiting SU's campus to meet with President Stephen Sundborg, S.J., who also appears in the picture, and for a briefing on the Seattle University Youth Initiative. With many of our nation's schools in crisis, SU's College of Education hosted a national conference to explore what can be done to help children get a better education.
