Catholic Heritage Lecture Series begins Oct. 11 with expert on Vatican II

Father Joseph Komonchak, a leading expert on Vatican II will get the 2012-2013 Catholic Heritage Lecture Series started at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, in Pigott Auditorium. This year's theme, "Vatican II: Achievement and Challenge," coincides with the 50th anniversary of the start of the Second Vatican Council. Fr. Komonchak will speak on "Vatican II as an Event." He is professor emeritus of the School of Theology and Religious Studies at Catholic University of America.
