Leadership for Social Good: Translating Your Passion into Action - sign up for Sept. 28 seminar

Interested in starting or leading a socially conscious endeavor someday? Thinking about transitioning into or exploring the nonprofit sector, but not sure where to start? This program will provide an overview of the nonprofit sector and common leadership roles. Leaders will share lessons learned from the field and discuss how legal and graduate education can translate in the sector. The session will also offer concrete ways to build résumés and skills and an opportunity to network with leaders and practitioners from across sectors. Speakers include thought leaders from Seattle University and the community. This program is appropriate for MPA, MNPL, law, and MBA students/alumni or any professionals wishing to explore the nonprofit sector. This is the first in a series of nonprofit leadership workshops hosted by the School of Law's Access to Justice Institute and Center for Professional Development as well as the Institute of Public Service. Registration is required. For more information, contact Jennifer Werdell at werdellj@seattleu.edu or (206) 398-4455.
