Starting Your Own Nonprofit or Social Venture: March 1 panel discussion
Through an interactive panel discussion with nonprofit and social entrepreneurial leaders, this event will highlight different organizational models available to those starting social endeavors, share nuts and bolts about creating and maintaining those organizations, and emphasize the ingredients that are necessary to build an effective new organization from the start. Speakers include Judy Andrews (School of Law's Not-for-Profit Organization Clinic), Sandrine Espie (SU MPA graduate and founder of Muses), Jaime Garcia (founder and executive director of Consejo Counseling and Referral Service), Megan McNally (director of advancement and chief development officer for the Washington State Bar Association) and Sheila O'Sullivan (executive director of the Northwest Consumer Law Center).
