Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration to feature member of "Little Rock Nine"
Seattle University's 2013 Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration features
Carlotta Walls LaNier, who was the youngest of the nine students who desegregated Central High School in Little Rock, Ark., in 1957. She is the author of
A Mighty Long Way: My Journey to Justice of Little Rock Central High School and is Congressional Gold Medal winner. Following her presentation, she will be available for a book signing and reception in Paccar Atrium.
