Shanai Lechtenberg commended by international association
Shanai Lechtenberg, premajor studies program advisor, was commended for her work as a faculty member at the NACADA Academic Advising Assessment Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico. NACADA, the National Academic Advising Association, is the global community for academic advising. The institute focuses on the importance of assessing the effectiveness of academic advising programs and experiences and the development of an assessment plan for institutions.
"Shanai's work as a faculty member was exemplary at this year's institute," Charlie Nutt, the association's executive director, wrote in a letter. "She not only presented outstanding sessions, but her work with the small group was highly evaluated by group members. Shanai's experience in the area of assessment at your institution provided her with the expertise and skills to be outstanding in this role at the Institute. This involvement made the Institute an extremely successful event."
