A big thanks to the faculty and staff who shared their pictures from last month's snowstorm. Here they are...
Russ Lidman, emeritus professor in the Institute of Public Service, writes: "Raven (law professor) and I had two feet of snow on the ground when the ice storm hit early morning of Jan. 19. It was two more days before we could drive out. It was icepocalypse that did the major damage in Olympia. Of course, our power was out--the ice took down tree trunks and branches--and the lines as well. The snapping of the trees sounded like rifle fire.
Chuck Porter, chief information officer, sent in this shot taken in Pioneer Square as the snow fell.
Amy Lane, gift and data integrity coordinator in University Advancement, contributed this beauty.
Here's one from Liz Pilati, executive secretary to the president. (Great picture, although we're not sure if Liz managed to get the dog to pull her on that sled...)
And finally, from the very appropriately named Jeff Winter, senior library technician, comes this picture taken on Queen Anne Hill.
