SU students and faculty
recently visited Co Lam Temple to meet with
Manikanto
Bhikkhu, who talked about practicing and experiencing Buddhist wisdom for a
peaceful heart and mind. The visit was part of this year’s Human Development
Series, which is coordinated by Le Xuan Hy, associate professor of psychology.
The series is co-sponsored by Academic Salons; Center for Service and Community
Engagement; Center for the Study of Justice in Society, Provost Office;
Department of Psychology and Institute for Human Development in the College of
Arts and Sciences; First Nations Group at Seattle University; Psi
Chi—Psychology Honors; Office of Multicultural Affairs; School of Theology and
Ministry; and the Vice President’s Office for Mission and Ministry.
