Tammy Shadair (administrative coordinator for the executive
vice president) spent part of her birthday hunting for ducks—27 of her own rubber ducks, to be more precise. The
ducks went missing last week, ducknapped by her colleagues. On the day of her
birthday, Dec. 15, Tammy was given a series of clues to help her find the
ducks, which had been relocated to various sites throughout the campus. By the end
of a very rainy day of searching, she was soaking wet but happily reunited with
every last member of her flock. The hunt was coordinated by Ivette Serna (assistant
director for financial affairs) and Ann Nornes (executive legal assistant).
Many other co-conspirators across campus were involved.
