Cheeshead Mike

Posted on Wednesday, February 02, 2011

Cheesehead_MikeCount Director of Campus Ministry Mike Bayard, S.J.—pictured here with Quentin Dupont, S.J., and Josef Venker, S.J.—among the cheeseheads who will be rooting for the Packers on Sunday.

“The Bayard family is from Howard, Wis., a suburb of Green Bay,” he explains. “I have no other choice than to cheer for the Packers this coming Sunday at the Super Bowl. Growing up, every time I watched the Packers on TV they always seemed to lose so my mother would often tell me to get out of the TV room so the Packers would not lose. I am not sure I can stay out of the TV room next Sunday. I will be there cheering on the Pack.”

So I guess what you’re telling us, Fr. Mike, is that we’ll know who to blame if Green Bay loses!
