Blackhawks meet Redhawks

BlackhawksSnapshotTwo Blackhawk helicopters descended on Seattle University’s Championship Field on Friday, Nov. 19. The airlift was part of a training exercise involving the Washington Army Air Guard and 4th region area ROTC cadets. You can watch a short video of the landing.

Ki Gottberg wins Off the Beaten Path photo contest

Off_the_Beaten_PathWe have a winner! Congratulations to Ki Gottberg of Fine Arts for being the first person to identify this picture as the garden behind the Arrupe House. Natch Ohno, S.J., won in the Jesuit category (otherwise known as “Unfair Advantage” category). Both will receive new stainless steel SU water bottles. A big thank you to everyone who played and to Arrupe Rector Pat Howell, S.J., who in addition to taking the picture tends the beautiful garden.
