Law school welcomes diverse Class of 2015
A diverse Class of 2015 joins Seattle University School of Law this fall. The class of 292 students comes from more than 90 colleges and universities. The class is comprised of 31 percent students of color, 47 percent women, and 26 percent students from out of state. Students range in age from 21 to 61, with the average age being 26.
Students bring a broad range of experience, including those from social justice, legal and business backgrounds. In addition to Northwest companies such as Amazon, Boeing, Microsoft, Starbucks and Costco, students have worked at agencies such as Food Lifeline and Partners in Malawi. The class includes five veterans and one active duty military member.
The fall semester began Monday, Aug. 20.
