About TESOL
Seattle University offers 27
graduate programs and a juris doctor degree.
The College of Education offers ten graduate
programs and serves approximately 500 students.
The Dean of the College is Dr. Sue Schmitt.
College of Education programs include the
Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership,
Adult Education, Curriculum and Instruction,
Educational Administration, School Counseling,
School Psychology, Student Development, Teacher
Education, and Teaching English to Speakers
of Other Languages.
Students in the TESOL program at SU may take
up to 25% of their coursework off campus at
the School of TESL, located off-campus in
North Seattle. The Director of the School
of TESL is Bernice Ege-Zavala, who works closely
with College of Education Assistant Dean SusanEllen Bacon (see School of
TESL).
