Teaching English and Facilitating Cross-cultural Communication
Students in the Master’s Program in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages (TESOL) learn in a multilingual and multicultural environment to become professionals who deliver quality instruction for teaching adults in a variety of settings. TESOL graduates are committed to leadership, service, social justice, and individual language rights. English is the lingua franca of the world, taught to millions every day, including the United States, where over 10 percent are foreign born; TESOL professionals are in high demand — especially those with master’s degrees.
