Application Procedures

for M.Ed., Ed.S., and Endorsement Only programs

Note: For application procedures for the Master in Teaching with Special Education please click here.

Application Procedures for M.Ed. and Ed.S.

  • Request an application packet from Graduate Admissions or call (206) 296-2000.
  • Complete the Graduate School application and attach the application fee.
  • Request official transcripts be sent either to the student or directly to Seattle University from each college and university attended. Confirm with each institution their policy for issuing official transcripts. If mailed to the student directly, transcripts must remain in their sealed envelopes.
  • Distribute the recommendation forms and designated envelopes. Recommenders must seal and sign the envelopes before returning them to the applicant.
  • For those students entering the Endorsement Only program, and who have prior extensive coursework in special education, must first have a transcript review completed through the College of Education certification office. For more information click here.
