SPED Student Learning Outcomes

Students take a planned sequence of coursework in special education and other disciplines, working with their advisor to develop an individual course of study. The program culminates in the practicum (SPED 549), taken winter quarter the last year of the program, working with K-12 students with special needs.
Students can begin the program during any quarter. Courses during the academic year meet in the late afternoon and evening hours; some summer coursees meet during the day. Students can typically complete the master’s program in three to four years.
