Our alumni are active in the student affairs profession and in higher education.
Dr. Herbie Hoffman's book, Coaching Principles for the Development of Championship Teams: On and Beyond the Pitch, co-authored with former SU soccer coach Peter Fewing, was published in 2010.
Cassandra Chapel and two of her colleagues at The George Washington University (Justina DeMott and Colby Moss) were accepted to present at this year's 2012 NASPA National Conference on "Staff Efficiency for the Millennial Generation." Our presentation was one of three presentations accepted to be sponsored by the NASPA Knowledge Community on Technology. We will be presenting on Monday, March 12th at 4 p.m.
Congratulations to Kelly Benkert, ’11. She was chosen by students as Seattle University's Most Outstanding Staff Member for 2011-2012. Kelly is program coordinator for student leadership through service at Seattle University's Center for Service and Community Engagement. Bellevue College has appointed Yoshiko Harden as the new vice president for diversity. In this role, she will lead efforts to promote equity and pluralism on campus by developing programs and providing guidance to campus leaders. She is set to begin July 9. Brian Sponsler was selected as the Vice President for Research and Publishing for NASPA.
