The College of Education is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), accredited nationally by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), and regionally by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, and approved by the Washington State Board of Education.
The Certification program is designed for individuals who have a doctoral degree in a related field and wish to obtain certification as a school psychologist. Applicants who are interested in this program will meet with an Advisor to design an individualized program of study. The Certification program leads to Washington State educational staff associate (ESA) certification and to national (NCSP) certification.
