Mission
The School Psychology Program’s vision is to prepare knowledgeable, ethical and reflective school psychologists for leadership and service in diverse communities. Consistent with the vision and mission of Seattle University and the College of Education, the School Psychology program is dedicated to preparing school psychologists to serve P-12 students and their families, professional colleagues, and the larger community with exemplary levels of expertise and personal commitment. The program seeks to develop school psychologists who understand and embrace their ethical responsibilities and who have the skills to put these values to service for others. Program faculty model caring, academic excellence, and commitment to justice so that our graduates enact these values in their own professional lives.
