"In every child who is born, under no matter what circumstances, and of no matter what parents, the potentiality of the human race is born again."

— James Agee

Psychology

The need for school psychologists is greater than ever. School psychologists are first school responders in keeping children safe, supporting students and teachers in meeting academic standards, helping students with disabilities, and providing a nurturing place for children with chaos in other parts of their lives. Working with teachers, parents, and professionals, they design interventions for children and make ethical and moral decisions every day. The school psychologist must be a child advocate who takes responsibility for his/her actions.
