Registration is due by May 31, 2013 to participate in the summer session.
There are TWO registration forms. The first registration form is for Seattle University. Please complete and mail, email or fax this registration form to the address at the top of the form. This registration will be used to enroll you in the ELL Endorsement Academy.
The second registration form is an online registration form for the Puget Sound ESD. This form will be used for billing purposes. The PSESD will be processing your payment(s). When you click on this link, you will see the following information:
Please be aware that this class IS NOT FREE. The total cost of this one-year program is $5,400. Payments can be made in full, they or can be made quarterly to the PSESD. This online registration program will not permit us to use wording that will give you flexible payment options. It will only allow the word "free" to be used as a place holder. When you register, it will show quantity "1," and then you will be billed quarterly by the PSESD (or you may send one payment in full).
In order to complete your registration, you must submit a copy of your Teaching Certificate, by fax, mail or email, to the College of Education prior to the start of classes. The fax and mailing information is the same as on the registration form.
Tuition for the 24-credit program is $225 a credit. The total cost is $5,400. Tuition for this program is non-refundable. For the first year of this endorsement program, a flexible payment plan has been arranged. Participants have the option of either paying for the program in full at the start of classes, or paying in four (4) installments over the course of the one-year program (at the beginning of each quarter).
Please visit the Professional Educator Standards Board (PESB) website
for information on possible retooling scholarships through that office.
All questions related to retooling funds availability, the application
process and fund distribution should be directed to the PESB.
All courses are held at the Puget Sound ESD. Location and driving directions are available from the PSESD website.
After you have completed the 24-credit program, your final step to completing your endorsement work is to take and pass the WEST-E test. WEST-E test prep and information is available from the WEST website.
