Tom Bailey started his career as a teacher at Garfield High School. Since then he has been an administrator in urban, suburban, and rural districts at both the middle and high school levels. Since retiring from Franklin High School, he has worked as a principal trainer at the University of Washington, as a middle school coordinator for the city of Seattle and with professional development for Teachfirst. Currently he is working across the United States focused on principal leadership and professional development.
